Things Klina Will Never Ask You For
Knowing what a legitimate company won't ask for is one of the simplest scam defences there is. Here's our exact list, kept short on purpose.
The best scam defence is usually a short, memorable list of things a real company simply doesn't do. Here's ours.
Your password
We will never ask for your account password over chat, email, or social media, under any circumstance.
Your one-time passcode
An OTP is meant to stay between you and the system that sent it. Anyone asking you to share it is attempting fraud, regardless of who they claim to be.
Payment outside the app
Every legitimate transaction happens through Klina's protected, escrow-based payment flow — not a bank transfer, gift card, or "send it directly to me" request.
Stay in-app, stay safe.
If anything ever feels off, report it to us through official channels rather than continuing the conversation.
Quick answers
Q: What if someone calls claiming to be from Klina and asks me to confirm card details?
A: End the call. Genuine payment activity happens inside the app itself, never over an unsolicited phone call.
Q: Is it ever okay to share a booking confirmation screenshot?
A: A booking reference is generally fine, but avoid sharing anything that includes payment details or personal identifiers beyond what's needed to resolve a specific query.
