Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Klina collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal information when people use the Klina marketplace, mobile apps, websites, backend services, payment flows, provider tools, admin tools, customer support, safety features, and related services.

Klina is a global services marketplace. We connect clients who need services with independent providers who can perform those services. Because Klina operates a marketplace, the backend is the source of truth for bookings, payments, wallets, escrow, provider matching, identity verification, safety events, disputes, notifications, and financial records.

This policy is intended to describe Klina's privacy practices in a clear way. It is not legal advice. Before publishing this policy publicly, Klina should review it with qualified legal counsel for each launch market.

1. Who We Are

Klina is operated by Gethsemane Technologies, trading as Klina, unless a different legal entity is stated in the app, website, or contract for your country.

For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at:

Email: hello@getklina.app

If Klina appoints a data protection officer, EU/UK representative, Nigerian data protection contact, or other local privacy representative, those details will be added to this policy or provided in the app.

2. Scope Of This Policy

This policy applies to:

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, payment pages, identity verification pages, bank pages, app stores, or services that are not controlled by Klina. Those services have their own privacy policies.

3. Information We Collect

Klina uses MetaMap as the intended global identity verification provider. MetaMap may collect identity documents, liveness data, biometric-related data, and other verification information according to its own privacy terms. Klina limits the verification data it receives and stores to what is necessary for marketplace trust, audit, and compliance.

3.4 Location Information

Klina may collect and process location information to operate the marketplace, including:

This information may be used to protect users, resolve disputes, support law enforcement requests where legally required, and maintain trust in the marketplace.

We may collect:

3.9 Dynamic Pricing, Matching, And Marketplace Intelligence Information

Klina uses platform-controlled dynamic pricing and provider matching. The system may process:

Klina may use AI, machine learning, or large language model tools to assist with market intelligence, pricing signals, benchmarking, anomaly detection, explanations, and marketplace optimization. Klina aims to make pricing fair, explainable, market-aware, and profitable without allowing providers or admins to manually set final customer-facing prices.

Klina's pricing systems are designed not to use protected characteristics such as race, religion, ethnicity, health status, or similar sensitive traits to set prices. Pricing decisions are based on service, location, timing, complexity, availability, market conditions, safety, profitability, and operational factors.
